Product Specialist (Waterproofing)

Duties & ResponsibilitiesProduct & Application Development - Ensure product quality and performance standards meet customer needs through continuous evaluation of product performance. - Use appropriate methodology to identify and manage development projects and co-ordinate the technical aspects on business projects related to product applications or customers. - Take responsibility for setting goals & milestones and identifying barriers in these projects and communicating these within the organization. - Identify performance requirements for new applications and products and further develop these in close cooperation with colleagues in the R&D and Manufacturing functions; thereafter lead the process of introduction at target customers. General Sales Responsibilities - Track competitive technology and identify new products/opportunities in the market. Initiate sample/performance analyses, and ensure broad technical knowledge of competition, including competitive literature. - Understand EH&S regulations and issues as related to Industry in which they are practicing.Desired Experience & QualificationMatric - Sales related diploma will be advantageous - Valid drivers license - Own vehicle - SA Citizen - 5 Years relevant experience in sales - Reside in KZN (Durban surrounding areas) - Good communication skills - Excellent selling skills - Familiar/experience in the construction and manufacturing environmentPackage & RemunerationR40K Basic slightly negotiableCo CarFleet CardCell AllowanceMedical aid for member and Provident fund
