About The Role As a Marketer – Product Specialist I, you'll be part of a team of self-motivated, high-achieving sales professionals and you'll drive WesBank Asset Based Finance full product offering to new customers in the KZN region.
Are you someone who can: Manage costs / expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficienciesDeliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutionsCultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff membersMaintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices, and provision of proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholdersTranslate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects/initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progressImplement and maintain sound business processes that minimize FNB risk and deliver quality requirements specificationsInitiate and manage product research, data mining, and quantitative analysis to ensure sustainability and future competitive growthExplore local and international markets for new products and trademarks to expand and strengthen the business' market positionFacilitate the conversion of knowledge and ideas into new or improved products, processes, and servicesManage own development to increase own competenciesYou will be an ideal candidate if you: Have 3+ years in commercial/client-facing rolesHave experience in the services/banking industryPossess knowledge and understanding of asset-based financeHave a strong track record as a highly performing sales individualAre generally motivated for sales (hunting and new business development) and highly energetic with a good sense of time managementYou will have access to: Opportunities to network and collaborateA challenging working environmentOpportunities to innovateWe can be a match if you are: Knowledgeable about asset-based finance (ABF)Familiar with financial and leasing systems, applications, and banking practicesSkilled in negotiation and communication, both written and verbalCapable of problem-solvingAnalytical to determine client business needs and requirementsAble to remain calm under various levels of pressureDemonstrate an established track recordAble to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally)Willing to travel (within the KZN region)Are you interested in taking the step?
