About The Role As a Marketer – Product Specialist I, you'll be part of a team of self-motivated, high achieving sales professionals and you'll drive WesBank Asset Based Finance full product offering to new customers in the KZN region.
Are you someone who can: Manage costs / expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficienciesDeliver exceptional service that exceeds customers' expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutionsCultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME's, project managers and senior staff membersMaintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and provide proactive advice and solutions to relevant stakeholdersTranslate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects / initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progressImplement and maintain sound business processes that minimise FNB risk and deliver quality requirements specifications.
Findings that are a result of internal or external audit and client management and risk.Initiate and manage product research, data mining and quantitative analysis to ensure sustainability and future competitive growthExplore local and international markets for new products and trademarks in order to expand and strengthen the business' market positionFacilitate the conversion of knowledge and ideas into new or improved products, processes, and servicesManage own development to increase own competenciesYou will be an ideal candidate if you: 3+ years in commercial/client facing rolesExperience in Services/Banking industryKnowledge and understanding of asset-based financeStrong track record as a highly performing sales individualGenerally motivated for Sales (Hunting and New Business development) and highly energetic with a good sense of time managementYou will have access to: Opportunities to network and collaborateA challenging working environmentOpportunities to innovateWe can be a match if you are: Good understanding of asset-based finance (ABF)General knowledge of financial and leasing including systems, applications, and banking practicesRequires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbalRequires solid problem-solving skillsAnalytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirementsAbility to remain calm under various levels of pressure
