Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:• Manage and develop new business in the industrial automation sector.• Assistance with the management of telephone and on-site commissioning.• Handling of incoming technical calls and providing online technical support.• Interfacing with customers and client personnel ensuring each interaction is friendly and respectful.• Ensuring that all on site safety regulations and procedures are adhered to.• Ensuring that all documentation relating to site visits are properly documented and signed off by the client.

Carrying our site visits with sales personnel to assist with:• Identification of application opportunities for automation products.• Assistance with the design of the control systems and selection of equipment.• Assistance with the preparation of the offer to the customer.• Assistance with the installation and commissioning of successful offer.• Where applicable assistance with panel design and construction.Limits of authority:• Submission of quotations of value greater than R100 000.00.• Granting of credits and warranties without line approvals.• Purchasing of equipment without approved purchase requisitions.
