Product Specialist Development Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Product Specialist Development Manager to manage the development and marketing of specialty products within the agriculture sector across the SADC region.
Responsibilities: Formulate and develop new specialty nutrient, bio stimulant and biological productsImprove existing products to provide cutting-edge solutions for the marketOversee field and greenhouse trials to demonstrate product efficacyManage the registration process for new products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirementsSupervise staff and manage the greenhouse facilityConduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead in the fieldPlay an active role in the marketing and successful launch of new products Requirements: MSc or PhD in Chemistry, with a focus on Plant Physiology, Agronomy, or related fieldRegistration as a Professional Natural Scientist with SACNASPMinimum 5 years of experience in agronomic product development and formulationExperience in managing trials, the South African product registration process, and leading teamsBASOS/FACTS and AVCASA/Crop Life SA certification would be advantageous EE Disclaimer: All positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
