Job Title: Product Sales representativeJob Summary:Our Durban-based client is a specialist in packaging machinery, pack-house equipment and end-of-line automation to the paper/paper converting industries, metal (including white goods), brick and timber industries and, the food and pharmaceutical industries. Our client provides a customer-centric, all-encompassing approach to end-of-line packaging in their serviced markets. Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Durban-based product sales representative to manage their sales, growth and, to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key clients. This is a full-time position which requires travel between clients and in -office work.Key Responsibilities:Report directly to the Durban Directors and National Sales ManagerDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objective with customers.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors and stakeholders.Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities/threatsMonitor and report on sales performance and market intelligenceIdentify and pursue new business opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing and technical support)Develop and manage sales budgets and forecastsEnsure compliance with company policies and proceduresSales, maintain and support of customersRequirements:Must be based in Durban and live within 40km's from the office, based in Redhill, Durban North.This is as in-office position with required travel.Several years of sales experience including technical sales experience in the industries they serve.
