Description Hello Future Product Portfolio ManagerFNB Connect and Service Provider is looking for a dynamic and highly driven Product Portfolio Manager to join their team.
The successful applicant will assist in defining and then delivering on strategy aligned to the bank philosophy of "shared prosperity".
The focus will be on leveraging product management to manage and deliver customer centric solutions / value propositions through the established frameworks that ensure the achievement of our strategic objectives and targets.Are you someone who can: Quickly understand new concepts and how they meet the needs of stakeholders.
Clearly articulate concepts to a range of audiences to ensure alignment and motivation towards a shared objectiveUnderstand the close interplay in a competitive market between; customers, technology, competitors, regulations and our internal operating environment and how this impacts delivery of value to stakeholders.Develop new value propositions – that align to segment strategies - and enablement processes that drive our key objectives and targetsUnderstand key cost drivers and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs without impacting the customer / operations negatively Identify and utilize opportunities for revenue growth to deliver on sales targetsDevelop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across cross functional teams internally and externallyDisplay and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivityCompile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisionsEnsure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processesIdentify, describe and manages risks in own area of responsibility through implementing mitigationsIdentify opportunities to expand customer base with potentially profitable customersProvide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategyManage team performance (internal to our team and across the business unit) in achievement of business objectivesBuild working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovationCreates solutions to meet customer demands to deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standardsEnsure full understanding of customer needs to deliver a quality serviceEnsure customer service solutions are aligned to the business operational plan; Organizational values and service standardsCommunicate how customer service solution will be implemented and secures buy-inManage and lead strategic projectsEnsure product knowledge and advice is technically accurate and provide customers with relevant information to keep them informed of products and service optionsEnsure resolution of customer queries and complaints timeously and ownership of issuesAnalyze customer feedback to help improve customer servicePropose ideas to improve customer experience & serviceAlign business process to strategy and clientsUnderstand technical capabilities of our systems and platforms and in doing so drive for creative solutioning leveraging what is available to us.
Conduct industry & competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovate new value propositionsDesign and implement processes that improve efficient for any new credit productImplement, monitor and control business processes according to quality standards; policy; and compliance and governance requirements in area of accountabilityEnsure the development, alignment, mapping and implementation of end-to-end processes aligned to the customer journey mapResearch, enable and consult on improvements and opportunities to harness technology and platform enablementReview existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimize redundancyMonitor customer feedback reports and align processes to maximize efficienciesEngage with customers to understand their unique requirements, drive value optimization and advise best options for product integration and wealth managementManage the growth of active customer account baseEnsure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements in area of accountabilityMaintain knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and internal compliance procedures and requirementsEnsure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by organization and review in response to audit findings and changesEnsure implementation of relevant policies, governance and practice standards across the businessDevelops an understanding of risks and risk management approaches Implement and provide input into the development of governance and compliance procedures and processes within area of specialization and identify risksEducates others and makes suggestions for improvementsNetworks and participates in cross functional forums where requiredDevelop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specializationManage and engage with a range of external partners Understand data and create insights from the data that can lead to value proposition / process or experience improvementsEasily understand commercial principles and apply these to the design / pricing of products and servicesYou will be an ideal candidate if you have: BCom or Engineering Degree10+ years of experience in the telecommunications industryMobile network product management / product development / value proposition development / customer value management experienceGreat Communication and Negotiation skillsYou will have access to: Opportunities to network and collaborateChallenging but rewarding work environmentOpportunities to innovateOpportunities to growWe can be a match if you are: Curious & courageous - you're driven by always wanting to know more and learn more and you're brave enough to.Obsessed with mastery - you know what it takes to become good at what you do and are constantly pushing yourself to do it.Adaptable, curious and willing to learn.Passionate in providing insights.Thrive in a collaborative environment.Are you interested to take the step?
