Job DescriptionAbout our Product Marketing Manager role.As our Product Marketing Manager, you are responsible for the creation and delivery of commercially effective product marketing strategies (both visionary and tactical execution) for HR & Payroll audience (inc. local execution in South Africa).The Product Marketing Manager will help drive the future growth of Sage through strategic thinking and analysis to understand the customer, market, eco-system, and competitor landscape creating clarity around how we win. To do this will require significant focus on specific customer segments and vertical industries we want to serve and then focus on how to enable the plans through the region.The role will create clear cut-through growth strategies for all target audiences, winning propositions including messaging and positioning, and go-to-market programs.The Product Marketing Manager must have a passion for taking the complex and making it simple, for marketing through compelling stories, and for driving new innovations in digital experience.Success in this role is defined by the role holder's ability to develop creative and innovative marketing strategies driven by customer insight that gain key buyers' mindshare and through the delivery of successful commercial results.Key ResponsibilitiesSummary of your day-to-day?You will be part of the HR & Payroll Business Unit squad, following the growth strategy, defining the customer value propositions that will enable the growth plans and maximize the Sage benefits further differentiating the brand. This will include responsibility for defining the pricing and pricing framework to enable the proposition. You will also be accountable for ensuring successful launch in-market for new propositions/products that go to market. This will include end-to-end responsibility for launch and leading the launch squad. You will work with the Product Management teams to deliver great customer insight and customer-led strategies to support product strategy and act as a global ambassador of Sage, contribute to exceptional Sage content and thought leadership, and represent Sage at events, in the media, with analysts, and digitally online.Minimum Qualifications• HR and Payroll domain experience• Experience within Product Marketing, Product Management, or Marketing• Knowledge of the South African market
