Job Responsibilities:Working closely with the in-house pharmacist/nutritionist on different aspects during the development process and assisting with research (competitors etc.)Managing the process/point of contact with the pharmaceutical company/manufacturer once product is briefed and throughout the implementation process right through to final delivery to the warehouseCostings – raw materials to finished goodsLabels and Packaging: liaising with Marketing on designs, compliance and internal sign-off. Briefing relevant printer and managing the order processLabels and package Inserts: ensure SAPHRA ComplianceSourcing of white label products, where applicableLiaise with suppliers on new product offerings and health trendsProduct Management:Maintain Nutraceutical Range stock levels according to anticipated sales volumesMaintain Skincare Range stock levels according to anticipated sales volumesFollow health and nutritional trends across our portfolio of productsMaintain communication with suppliers to ensure continuity of supplyManage and control the smooth running of the Takealot and One-Day-Only AccountsNew products - Manage (in conjunction with Marketing) the launch and ensure continued marketing thereof for the specified periodWork closely with warehouse team on maintaining sufficient label and packaging stock quantities as requiredAssist warehouse in sourcing operational items as required when necessaryInvestigate new sources of packaging (recyclable etc.) from time-to-timeProduct pricing and monitoring, including competitorsDiverse position within a small team, working with all areas of the business: marketing, social, warehouse, retail store.Skills and Attributes:Tertiary education in nutrition, food science or food technology would be an advantageEfficient planning abilityAbility to work on many things at oncePassionate, loyal, and hardworkingMotivated and positive attitudeAbility to work well both independently and as part of a teamStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectivelyGood technical knowledge on the nutritional value of the products to assist with customer queriesExceptional organizational and time management skillsQualifications & Requirements:Tertiary education in nutrition, food science or food technologyValid driver's license and own transportWorking Hours:Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30Occasional overtime or weekend workJoin our team at Sally-Ann Creed and contribute to our mission of promoting health and wellness through expert nutritional advice and quality products.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProduct Management and MarketingIndustriesHealth, Wellness & Fitness
