This role involves defining product vision and strategy, optimizing UX, managing product backlogs, collaborating with crossfunctional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of development projects to align with company goals.
We are seeking a highly motivated and datadriven individual to lead our efforts in enhancing user experience and driving product uptake.
In this role, you will own the impact of UX changes on our platforms, working closely with crossfunctional teams to optimise sales outcomes and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: General duties and responsibilities of a Product Manager at Pineapple include but not limited to : Product Ownership Completely own all products developed by the Pineapple dev team that customers directly interact with, as well as all internal products that facilitate internal operations that directly contribute to the OKRs of the company.
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company goals to all stakeholders.
Manage and prioritise the product backlog based on changing requirements, customer needs, and business value.
Act as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and the development team.
Ensure that the development team understands the product goals and the value behind each feature or enhancement.
Make informed decisions regarding tradeoffs between scope, budget, and time.
UX Analysis and Optimization Analyse the impact of different UX changes on product uptake and insurance policies sold.
Develop innovative UX strategies to optimise sales outcomes on the platform.
Be extremely datadriven in measuring the impact of UX changes, using analytics tools to inform decisions.
Product Development Collaboration Translate UX innovations into actionable development tickets for the engineering team.
Work closely with developers to ensure tickets are completed to the required standard and on schedule.
Liaise with internal teams to pinpoint pain points within the product and develop solutions.
Manage External Partner Tickets Oversee development tickets involving external partners.
Collaborate with external partners to ensure tickets are progressed effectively.
Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly.
Ensure that tickets with external partners are seen through to completion with your active involvement.
Sprint Management and Developer Productivity Track developers' weekly productivity using sprint tracking systems.
Measure developer productivity in terms of tickets completed and ticket rejections.
Communicate developer productivity metrics to the wider team and stakeholders.
Motivate and inspire the development team to maintain high productivity levels.
Strategic Planning and Execution Develop strategies to further optimise product uptake and increase insurance policies sold.
Own the outcome of UX changes, ensuring they meet the desired impact on the platforms.
Present the impact of implemented changes to the wider team and stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement Ensure development tickets created by internal operations teams are resolved effectively.
Implement feedback loops to continuously improve the product based on user data and internal insights.
Stay updated with industry trends to incorporate best practices into UX strategies.
Qualifications and Experience Required: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, and or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is of advantage).
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 Years Experience is mandatory, 5+ Years Experience is preferred.
Skills and Competencies Required: Strong analytical skills with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking.
Excellent understanding of UX principles and best practices.
Proficient in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello).
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Very organized and planningoriented regarding approaching tasks and reaching goals Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
Cognitive Abilities: Strong analytical thinking, problemsolving skills, and the ability to make informed decisions based on detailed data analysis and technological tools .
Leadership: Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing colleagues.
