Responsibilities:
The duties/tasks of the function include but are not limited to:
Commercial Strategy:

Evaluate the impact of the product on the customer's business operations.
Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
Identify Customer Value Proposition (CVP) opportunities to improve the total customer experience and deliver business value.
Identify new business opportunities to drive revenue growth, including exploring new product lines and expanding existing offerings.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional products and services to existing customers.

Customer Relationships:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Organise and participate in customer events, webinars, and conferences to strengthen relationships and promote engagement.
Gather and analyse customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and communicate insights to relevant teams to drive product and service enhancements.
Work with staff and external 3rd parties to develop system test cases from usage scenarios.

Stakeholder Experience:

Effectively communicate product vision, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders across the organisation, keeping them informed about product updates, timelines, and progress.
Ensure that all digital products and solutions comply with relevant policies, regulations, and security standards to protect sensitive associate data.

Analysis of Product:

Participate in collaborative requirements workshops with all stakeholders.
Develop usage scenarios and use cases that can be used to demonstrate product value.
Resolve conflicts between requirements proposed by stakeholders and decide on the best way forward to reach desired outcomes.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the products.
Provide training and resources to customers to help them maximize the value of our products and services.
Participate in making decisions to accept or reject proposed requirements and changes, using a commercial mindset.

Change & Project Management:

Define implementation priorities with the project manager.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time that align with the commercial strategies of the overall business.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to digital product management.
Continuously explore innovative ideas and seek feedback from associates and system users to improve the digital journey.

Team Leadership:

Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Set performance metrics, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Optimise resource allocation to meet business needs and maximize operational efficiency.
Manage budget effectively.

Inherent Requirements of the Job:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications are beneficial.
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Product Manager or in business consulting, preferably in digital space.
Previous experience scaling digital offerings to grow revenue in the Motor Industry would be advantageous.
Customer solutions focused mindset.
Strong passion for delivering customer service and unlocking opportunities.
Ability to see the situation from the other side of the table – understanding what matters to customers.
Demonstrable business consultant track record; understanding of business needs and development of solutions.
Excellent people and communication skills.
Proven track record of successfully engaging and achieving results in a UK based business.
Accountability focused, make-it-happen management style.
Good organisational skills.
Agility and problem-solving skills are a must.
Proven track record of successfully living the Business's Values.
Willingness and ability to travel to, engage, and deliver at customers' premises.
Ability to work flexibly and adaptably to appreciate nuances in daily operations.
Project management mindset, with a proven understanding of a projectised environment and/or a PMO.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From R30000,00 per month
Experience:
