JOB PURPOSE
The Product Manager (PM) will be responsible for overseeing the entire product life cycle of Schauenburg's Digital Health Systems, from concept to market release and beyond. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in product management, a deep understanding of the mining industry and a passion for advancing safety technologies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of a Grade 12; a degree/diploma will be an advantage.
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience within Product, Marketing Management, digital health.
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the health field with in-depth knowledge and wide experience in Products & Services focusing on digital health products.
Comprehensive knowledge of the medical and healthcare environment, marketing, and product management expertise.
Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, building a network for business tasks within the company and with external partners.
Excellent negotiation skills and a persuasive character.
Hard-working team player, decision-making personality who can present and convince.
Good listener and learner, able to quickly adapt strategies and help shape products in line with the company's vision.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
Must be able to travel.
Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define the product strategy and roadmap.
Deliver Market Requirements Documents (MRD) and Product Requirements Documents (PRD) with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
Be an expert with respect to the competition.
Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product.
Perform product demos to customers.
Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
Deliver a monthly revenue forecast.
Develop sales tools and collateral.
Propose an overall budget to ensure success.
Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings.
Brief press and analysts and go on press tours.
Act as a leader within the company.
Work hand in hand with the product owner.
Assume the role of a Release Manager.
Responsible for the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas.
Prioritize services and features by ranking them against the strategic goals and initiatives.
Analyze the target market and direct marketing efforts towards identified segments.
Manage the customer focus group/satisfaction for company health products.
Manage end-to-end relationships with partners – content intake, tool updates, reporting, GTM including in-life product life cycle, promotional coordination.
Oversee the deployment on B2B channel through distribution partners & B2C channel based on guidelines & consumer behavior.
Stay updated with market trends & consumer behavior to align accordingly.
Be well acquainted with industry players and stakeholders.
Conduct end-user testing of delivered features and functionality.
Prepare product management reports analyzing the product performance against targets.
KEY SKILLS
The ideal candidate has exceptionally high ownership, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to work with agility in a fast-paced environment. They would also be focused on demonstrating excellence in service delivery and problem-solving; breaking down complex information into understandable and actionable items. Experience in the digital/mobile health industry would be a distinct advantage.
