Product Manager/Gauge SpecialistDescription: A company specializing in industrial and process field instrumentation is looking for a Product Manager/Gauge Specialist to join their team. Key duties include:Plan and organize daily activities related to customer appointments, promotions, and stock control.Adhere to a pre-set monthly plan outlining customer visits, promotions, and other related events.Report visits in detail including market activity, prospective applications, and sales.Develop and implement marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and market presence.Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective marketing campaigns, materials, and digital content.Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and services.Identify and engage with potential customers and contractors for enlistment in EPC projects.Lead the vendor enlistment process, including pre-qualification, technical evaluations, and negotiations.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans in alignment with company objectives and budgeted targets.Identify opportunities for business expansion, market penetration, and revenue growth.Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify strategic sales opportunities.Collaborate with internal divisional team to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any technical or operational issues.Build strong relationships with key customers, contractors, consultants, and EPC companies within the region.Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation and networking.Work closely with the distributor's sales team to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential customers.Manage the entire product life cycle, including product selection, pricing, positioning, and promotion.Serve as the primary liaison between our manufacturing company and the distributor's office.Requirements: Technical degree in Control Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field with proven experience in product management and sales roles within the industrial or manufacturing sector, preferably in oil and gas, petrochemical, or power generation. MBA is a plus. Strong knowledge of the region's market dynamics, including customers, competitors, and industry trends in the Instrumentation industry will be beneficial. Own transport and valid drivers' license is essential. Willingness to travel within the region as required.Additional skills required: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Problem-solving and analytical skills are a prerequisite. Strong organizational and admin skills essential.
