Product Manager Crop Protection

Minimum requirements for the role:Must have a Master's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related fieldProven experience as a Product Manager in the field of plant protection is essentialMust have a deep understanding of plant crop protectionExperience in a multicultural or international company is highly advantageousStrong project management, organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills will be requiredEffective communication and teamwork skills are importantMust be proficient in relevant tools and software for product management and agriculture (e.g., farm management software, agronomic tools)Highly organized and able to manage confidential information discreetlyFluency in English and knowledge of French and Afrikaans is advantageousThe successful candidate will be responsible for:Conducting thorough research to understand agricultural trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform product development strategies.Creating and maintaining a detailed product roadmap, setting key features, prioritizing tasks, and establishing clear milestones for development and launch.Working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, regulatory, marketing, and customer support, to ensure successful product knowledge dissemination.Collaborating with agronomists, farmers, and internal stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with market needs.Overseeing product development, from screening and registration trials to ensuring products meet the needs of farmers and coordinating with the project team to meet timelines and objectives.Providing technical content, trial summaries, product training materials, and marketing support to facilitate successful product launches.Continuously monitoring product performance, gathering user feedback, and analyzing metrics to make informed decisions for product enhancements.Please note that subsequent to the screening and shortlisting process, all further communication will be entered into, only with the shortlisted candidates
