The Product Manager will be responsible for managing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience:Bachelors degree in business, Marketing or Strategy5+ years experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar roleProven work experience delivering product features using Agile/SCRUM methodologyExperience in Financial Services sector is requiredExperience working in the payments industry and experience working with PSPs, card schemes, and banks is requiredExperience in marketing will be advantageousExperience working with data will be advantageous Responsibilities:Understand the business s goals, metrics of success and strategyUnderstand the business s value proposition, current products and capabilitiesUnderstand the customer segments (Current and target) including their needs; desires; challenges; behaviours; buying process; experiences; priorities; values; preferences; beliefs; perceptions; and current product usageDevelop the product strategy which includes the vision for the product; the metrics of success; the roadmap showing the milestones; and go-to-market strategyCreate and prioritise the feature backlog based on new features; product improvements; bugs; design debt; and tech debt.Conduct research to understand the market and the competitors to inform a SWOT analysisSource and analyse data and trends regarding customers product use and behaviours as well as customer sentiment and feedback on current featuresDefine a business case for partnership opportunities and new features to ensure a strong ROI (return on investment)Articulate and manage feature scope and articulate the Minimal Viable ProductCollect feature requirements from various stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, internal departments, partners, and 3rd partiesStakeholder management to obtain buy-in and provide progress updates of work underway; issues; risks; assumptions; dependencies; and expected delivery datesGather and document the various user journeys; scenarios and error states that could occurWork closely with UX designers to create UI designs that meet the users needs and provide an excellent user experienceOversee product development to ensure that the product is developed according to the defined requirements and timelineTest the feature before go-live to ensure the product meets the requirements and quality standardsEnable the Support team to support the new feature through the creation of training material; FAQ guides; and defining the metrics to track performance againstEnable the Sales team to support the new feature through the provision of training material and product guidesWork with the marketing team to develop go-to-market plansMonitor the feature in production to assess feature uptake; user satisfaction; and to identify any issues or areas for improvement Personal attributes and skillsPassion for productEmpathy for customersLeaderCollaborator and team playerAbility to learn quicklyProblem solverCreativeAbility to analyse data and derive insightsAttention to detail
