The Product Delivery Specialist role in Cape Town requires a deep understanding of the customer base and close collaboration with the Head of Brand Experience & Insights to fully grasp the overall business strategy.
The Product Delivery Specialist will work with various teams across the organization to ensure a seamless customer journey and deliver an exceptional experience to users.
A technically adept individual is needed, capable of quickly assessing the competitive landscape, developing clear requirements, aligning strategies, and overseeing the end-to-end delivery throughout the product lifecycle.
Your key job responsibilities as the Product Delivery Specialist in Cape Town will include: Collaborate with stakeholder groups and leadership teams to define product roadmaps that align with business strategy and objectives.
Utilize a variety of product discovery techniques to identify customer needs and desires, transforming them into solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
Advocate for the customer, ensuring their needs are central to all decision-making processes.
Lead with data, working closely with both internal and external BI teams to identify growth opportunities and monitor platform performance.
Partner with UX and design teams during the discovery and requirements phases, ensuring that customer and business needs are effectively translated into wireframes, designs, and prototypes.
Support leadership in creating business cases that demonstrate the benefits of the product roadmap, determine priorities, and measure success through predefined KPIs.
Collaborate with technology teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements, in the form of User Stories, to facilitate incremental delivery across the pipeline.
Engage daily with both internal and external development and QA teams in an Agile environment to clarify requirements and ensure smooth project execution.
Serve as the main point of contact for technology teams throughout the development and testing phases, advising leadership on any necessary prioritization adjustments.
Conduct user acceptance testing, ensuring all standards are met, and provide sign-off on behalf of the organization.
Requirements: A strong background as a sports enthusiast with experience in the Betting and Gaming industry, and a deep understanding of its customers.
Proven experience in defining and delivering customer-facing products, both internally and externally.
Proficiency in various product discovery techniques to assess the suitability of product requirements at all levels.
Expertise in data-driven decision-making.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
Experience with Agile software development practices and methodologies, with a clear understanding of their organizational benefits.
Previous experience in the Betting and Gaming industry is desirable.
