National Bioproducts Institute NPC has a vacancy for the role of Product Consultant. The successful incumbent will be required:
To increase and/or maintain sales in the designated territory.
To ensure good representation of NBI to customers and be the face of the company to the customers in the territory.
To build and maintain relationships with customers in the territory on behalf of NBI.

Minimum Requirements
Paramedical qualification/degree in life sciences
2 years in pharmaceutical/medical sales as a rep
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales
Develops sales plan for the designated area to achieve sales targets.
Complies a monthly sales report by monitoring sales and customer analysis. Takes action on any exceptions for areas under the control of the Product Consultant. Collates information from PCs and inserts relevant information into the sales report.
Follows up on sales achieved with the sales manager prior to month end in order to identify customers who have not placed orders.
Attends congresses as part of the promotions plan for NBI.
Compiles quarterly report on activities for presentation at the Quarterly Marketing Meeting.
Compiles report on activities when requested for input into the Marketing Department report to the NBI Board.
Provides customer training and education in collaboration with the Information Centre.
Identifies, coordinates and organizes CME opportunities for the Information Centre.
Identifies new sales and promotional opportunities to increase sales/awareness of NBI.
Maintain and enhance customer relations
Develops quarterly customer call plan for designated area.
Records customer visits using CRM system.
Receives customer queries and responds to them in conjunction with the Information Centre.
Follows up on product or patient related queries and complaints from the Information Centre.
Organizes NBI's attendance at congresses by booking the congresses and attending to all the necessary details.
Responds to customer needs and routes the information to the relevant departments.
Product and Market Knowledge
Keeps abreast of trends regarding competitor activities, pricing, therapeutic trends, new products and diseases, by reading the latest literature, attending congresses, lectures etc.
Provides feedback from doctors, nurses & patients regarding product design and suitability.
