Leading Financial Services Company is currently seeking to employ a Product Area Lead to lead full stack engineering teams doing their critical part to accelerate autonomous value creation through Insights and Machine Learning
Responsibilities
Achieve a free flow of information between internal users and teamsEstablish a compelling product vision, gain funding for and deliver an ambitious transformative roadmapWrite detailed PRD'sDefine or refine success metrics and Service Level Objectives (SLO's)Develop and retain world class product management talentAs an internal product lead, focus on enabling the company to quickly and reliably ingest, transform, process data and adhere to the highest standards of privacy and security
Requirements
Matric /Grade 12Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Information Systems / Statistics / Informatics or National Diploma in Information Technology or related discipline7+ years' experience in leading data platform teams with about 2 years in cloud technologiesExperience owning and managing a budget, including resource planning from storage and compute costs, cost of team development and retention etc.
