PURPOSE OF POSITION: As a Procurement Specialist Mid, your purpose is to assume a leadership and mentorship role within our procurement team, driving strategic procurement initiatives and overseeing complex procurement projects. Your contributions are integral to our organisation's mission of optimising costs, enhancing supplier and partner relationships, and maintaining procurement excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Transaction ManagementOwn the end-to-end transaction from customer order to fulfilment to invoice, managing high volumes of customer requests through a workflow system.Promptly review and action hardware and software opportunities.Generate quotes and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy.Ensure timely delivery and installation of products/services.Create and process invoices accurately and on time.Conduct research on hardware, software, and licensing products. Order TrackingTrack supplier invoices and proof of deliveries (PODs).Manage the tracking of orders to ensure timely receipt.Collaborate with the procurement team to resolve issues. Expectation ManagementKeep all stakeholders updated with activities.Provide accurate ETAs for all products.Cultivate key stakeholder relationships. Vendor ManagementFollow up on internal and vendor inquiries.Assist in maintaining supplier relationships.Secure favorable pricing through negotiations. Proactive Client EngagementEngage with customers on requirements.Select appropriate hardware/software products.Process renewals and warranties.Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Advisory and Partnership FunctionDevelop expertise in strategic business areas.Share knowledge with the Cyberlogic team.Manage the renewal process for clients. Ticket CoordinationAssist in the assignment of procurement-related tickets.Collaborate with other teams to address requests. Team CollaborationWork closely with the procurement team and other departments.Participate in team meetings.
