About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services across various functions of the business. You will oversee the entire procurement process, ensuring efficient and effective procurement strategies are implemented.
What you will bring

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Contract Management, or Supply Chain.
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information.
Proficient knowledge of JBCC, NEC, and FIDIC contract frameworks.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Solid understanding of housekeeping principles.
Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act.
Familiarity with building standards and regulations.
Comprehensive procurement knowledge and understanding of relevant statutory requirements.
Effective contract management capabilities.
Strong administrative skills, including reporting and documentation.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and build relationships.

What you will be doing
You will be responsible for the following:
Manage the procurement process from start to finish, including contract negotiation, vendor selection, and contract administration.
Negotiate sale prices and terms with suppliers to achieve the best possible value for the company.
Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and assess their capabilities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality service.
Monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand their procurement needs and provide tailored solutions.
