Requirements Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Business Administration or other relevant qualification with a proven long-term experience on the jobMinimum of 5+ years' experience in a strategic procurement role, ideally in the FMCG industryExperience in project and process managementSolid understanding of category management and state-of-the-art "source-to-contract" procurement processesAdvanced level of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skillsSAP experience desirableGood stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsGood knowledge of drafting and understanding contractsGood working knowledge of purchasing strategiesFinancial acumen and detail-orientatedOccasional travel to regional offices and suppliers nationwide, up to 20%, to be plannedResponsible Analyze trends and market conditions for the present and future pricing, availability, lead-time, and capacity of goods and services - ensuring Red Bull South Africa has the right vendors for current and future growthRisk management – evaluate supplier risk, respond with mitigation plans, and identify alternative suppliers for comparative pricingEnsure contracts with contractors and service providers are finalized and approvedEnsure supplier management, local sourcing guidelines, obligations, and service level agreements are correctly implemented and adhered toCreate and maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders to understand the organization's needsEnsure key supplier relationships are managed and performance is properly monitored by the respective business partner – through the setting of KPIs, monitoring and reviewing performance cross-functionally with relevant stakeholdersCost management - negotiate prices of existing suppliers where applicable to ensure cost optimizationDrive and coordinate efforts to provide transparency on and insights into 3rd party spend
