NDC Personnel & Contractors is excited to announce an opening for a Procurement Officer at an FMCG giant in the Western Cape!
In this critical role, you'll spearhead procurement processes.
Your responsibilities will include:Awarding orders in collaboration with maintenance teams.Scrutinising and comparing technical quotes.Negotiating pricing and imposing penalties based on agreed terms.Analysing expenditures to refine sourcing processes, ensuring optimal quality and cost-effectiveness.Managing supplier relations to meet targets.The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Purchasing Management, with technical qualifications considered an asset.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a procurement role within a related industry is essential.
