Procurement Officer

- Negotiate pricing- Send enquiries out and get pricing- Place orders as needed according to urgency- Track order details (e.g. Suppliers, Quantities, Prices) into internal databases- Review quality of purchased products (Inspect materials)- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices- Acquire the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.- Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliersDesired Experience & Qualification- Minimum Matric (Grade 12)- Preferably Male-Proven experience managing supply chain operations. (+- 2 - 5 years)- Knowledge of negotiation terms.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)- Multi-tasking and time-management skills,- Highly organized and detail-oriented- Good knowledge of supplier sourcing practices (Researching, evaluating and liaising with suppliers)- Advanced calculating skills- Sage (evolution) knowledge will be an advantage- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques- Strategic thinking-Great relationship managementPackage & RemunerationR15,000 - R18,000 per monthInterested?If you meet all the requirements and wish to apply for this role, please do so online.
