Procurement Officer

The focus of this role will be to negotiate and manage group-purchasing contracts in collaboration with other stakeholders, leading to better value for money.Responsibilities:Managing the contract database, the tender and contract awarding process, ensuring contracts are renewed in a timely manner, ensuring all required documents as per the procedures and processes are filed appropriately, in accordance with the organizations set procedures.Assist with contract development, administration, tracking, analysing and measuring supplier performance, and contract compliance.Record modifications and extensions to contracts.Administer the contract management portfolio and coordinate portfolio in the absence of the Contract ManagerDevelop procurement strategies.Manage the tender and contracts award process for new contracts and contract renewals to ensure that group purchasing contracts offer best value.Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain ManagementA minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a corporate procurement environmentE-procurement knowledge
