Job Specification (not totally inclusive) Executing the strategic sourcing process and implement tasks associated with sourcing objectives; Executing RFQ and tendering process according to KMC policies and procedures; Maintaining SAP pricing and sourcing master data according to the implemented sourcing strategies; Developing and monitoring cost-reduction strategies; Maintaining key stakeholders' relationships with internal customers; Creating and maintaining relationships with vendors/suppliers; Negotiating pricing, drafting contracts, and managing contracts; Researching potential vendors, comparing, and evaluating offers; Ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities; Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities and produce procurement performance metrics report. Minimum Skills required Grade 12; Bachelor's degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in Supply Chain/Engineering is required; Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in procurement of industrial commodities within manufacturing/engineering environment and value add relationships; At least 2 years' experience in managing commercial contracts; Must have an exposure to Strategic Sourcing i.e., Facilitating First Articles is essential; Understand B-BBEE Pillars/Matrix/Scorecard including Mining Charter; Sound knowledge of parts specifications in a manufacturing environment is critical; SAP R/3 experience is required; Computer literate in MS Office suite is required; Must have driver's license and own reliable transport. Behavioural Competencies required Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and commercially minded; Must have interpersonal skills, and able to work within a team setup; Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines; Must have strong negotiation skills.
