Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support)Full timeBackground:CR Grace Ltd has been a leading livestock procurement business for over 65 years, specialising in stock buying, transport and logistics. CR Grace Ltd is the sole procurement provider for ALL livestock through Taylor Preston Ltd in Wellington. Taylor Preston Ltd is 100% privately NZ owned and one of the country's most successful export processing plants.About the role:CR Grace Ltd are seeking an organised person, available for an immediate start, with a keen eye for detail to join our administration team on a permanent basis to fill a role made available through expansion of our growing business. This position will be based on site in Hunterville and is for 30 hours p/w. Start/finish times are flexible, but you must be available 5 days a week and through school holidays because our peak busy period is over the summer/Christmas period. Ability to work autonomously is essential.Responsibilities include data validation and other administration duties. You will check, process and pay farmer clients, providing technical information regarding weights, grades, and the value of the livestock. You will manage quarterly booking of stock for supply programmes. You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, Taylor Preston staff, CR Grace Ltd livestock buyers and outside stock agents.If you are looking for a change, are reliable, punctual and can understand and execute instructions, are determined to work hard and you'd like a busy administration role, this is for you, especially if you enjoy being time pressured and working to a daily deadline to feel accomplishment.Skills and experience:All specific training will be provided in the Taylor Preston specialist livestock system.Computer literacy and office experience is essential.An engaging personality and proven administration experience.A farming background is essential with a keen interest in the agricultural sector.An understanding of NAIT and Quality Assurance would be an advantage.Key strengths in reliability, respectfulness and honesty, a friendly down to earth manner with credibility.What we offer:You will be working with a dynamic young livestock buying team, alongside 3-4 other office staff in the procurement division of a successful family business which is community focused, with values based on relationships.
