Procurement Manager

A leading housing association is looking for a procurement manager to take responsibility for analysing data and identifying cost saving opportunities within the business and wider supply chain.
You will:
Monitor performance and identify improvementsWork with senior level stakeholders to help set and deliver internal procurement strategiesSupport the Compliance Manager to continually assess and audit ongoing risksWork with internal stakeholders when they are considering procurement options on their projectsMaintain accurate databases and data systemsWhy ApplyThis is a fantastic opportunity to deliver significant results in this newly created role.

Candidate RequirementsIdeally, you will currently be working as a procurement manager who has set and delivered in-house procurement policies or process improvements in your current or past role.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at senior manager/director level.
Highly resilient, with gravitas and strength of character to ensure strategies are successfully delivered.
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills.
