PROCUREMENT MANAGER / SUPPLY CHAIN – EAST LONDON – The successful Candidate for this role will be responsible for overseeing all purchasing activities for our clients quick-service restaurant chain, ensuring optimal inventory levels, cost effective sourcing, and maintaining quality standards for both food and non-food items.The key attributes needed to perform this role successfully are; The ability to speak, read & write English fluently, Numerical and statistical skills preferred, Computer literacy, planning/organising, identify consumer behaviour, Time Management, Ability to work under pressure, maintain strong relations with key suppliers and negotiate contracts with them, problem solving, and negotiationMinimum Requirements:Bachelors' degree in Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management OR relevant fieldMinimum 3 years' experience in procurement or salesExperience in QSR/FMCG beneficialProven track record of negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationshipsResponsibilities:Food & Beverage ProcurementManage relationships with food and beverage suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices; Monitor market trends and commodity prices to optimize purchasing decisions; Ensure all food and beverage items meet company quality standards and food safety regulations; Coordinate with menu development team to source ingredients for new menu items Non-Food Items ProcurementOversee procurement of operational supplies including:Restaurant uniforms and employee attire; Cleaning supplies and chemicals; Paper products and packaging materials; Office supplies and stationery; Kitchen equipment and maintenance supplies Inventory ManagementCoordinate with Supply Chain teams, centrally and in market, to forecast demand and adjust ordering accordingly Vendor ManagementEvaluate and select vendors based on price, quality, delivery reliability, and service; Maintain a diverse supplier base to ensure supply chain resilience; Conduct regular vendor performance reviews; Resolve any supplier-related issues promptly Cost Control & ReportingAnalyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost savings; Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics and KPIs; Monitor and control budget for all purchasing activities; Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality Risk ManagementIdentify and assess potential risks associated with procurement, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and price fluctuations; Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.Salary: Market related based on experienceApplication Process: Please apply online or e-mail your CV, Qualifications, Driver's licence and recent head & shoulder to ******.
