Procurement Manager: Citrus

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet business objectives. Identify, evaluate, and engage with citrus growers and suppliers. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to optimize cost and quality. Monitor market trends, crop forecasts, and industry developments to inform procurement decisions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and ensure adequate supply. Manage supplier performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field Proven experience (5 years) in procurement within the agricultural or fruit industry, with a focus on citrus. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of agricultural practices, market dynamics, and supply chain management.
