A leading tech company in battery technology, renewable energy, and remote monitoring seeks a skilled Procurement and Logistics Officer.
You'll manage sourcing, vendor relationships, inventory, and logistics to support seamless operations.
Key duties include coordinating local and international logistics, handling import/export documentation, and ensuring efficient workflows.
Collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal teams will align procurement and logistics with business goals.
Minimum Requirements: Diploma or degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related fieldFamiliarity with INCO terms and compliance standards (e.g., PVOC)Understanding of air and shipping transport logistics is advantageousExperience in the telecommunications industry's operational and equipment needs is an advantageValid driver's license and access to own reliable vehicleStrong negotiation and communication skillsProficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of supply chain management principlesExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesAttention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approachAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesComfortable working in a standard office environment with occasional fieldwork to visit suppliers or attend meetingsDuties and Responsibilities: Procurement Source and procure equipment, materials, and services to support operationsEnsure cost efficiency and adherence to quality standardsManage vendor relationships, ensuring timely deliveries and contract complianceProactively communicate with suppliers to prevent delays in order fulfilmentProvide detailed costing information for management approvalMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with the manufacturing team to avoid disruptionsRequest supplier quotations and generate purchase ordersLogistics Prepare and manage documentation for exports and imports, including compliance certificatesExpedite orders and resolve potential delays through proactive stakeholder communicationPrepare status updates and logistics performance reportsOversee logistics operations, including local transportation and ad hoc imports, in collaboration with freight agents
