Collaborate with the Production Managers, taking guidance of the demand requirements by understanding forecasts to ensure that production is supported. Collaborate with Production Managers to develop strategies for consumables to maintain buffer stock levels. Maintain accurate re-order thresholds in the MRP system based on demand requirements. Assist in BOM creation in the ERP system to ensure accurate listing of materials, inventory items, and cost / unit measure information. Apply the Materials Resource Planning (MRP) principles to engage supply chain partners to ensure smooth operations. Goods Received, Storerooms & Stock Count Directly manage Stores operations, ensuring accurate receiving, put-away, and issuing of products is done in a transparent and documented manner.
Maintain organized, efficient stores with proper processes for product issuance and receipting, to ensure that material issues are in conjunction with actual standard production requirements. Oversee receiving of good and services, ensuring accuracy in quality, quantity and price managed through a robust control system. Confirm Purchase Orders with suppliers to verity accuracy upon receipt of goods or services, as accurate in terms of both QTY and Price and are fit for purposes in terms of quality specification. Facilitate timely procurement of machinery in partnership with Technical team and CEO. Manage monthly stock counts to ensure accurate inventory records at month end. Supply Chain Development Ensure supplier agreements are in place for price and supply stability, to ensure optimised working capital cycle. Negotiate annual price increases to mitigate cost pressures. Secure primary and secondary suppliers for critical inventory to prevent shortages. Explore opportunities for supply chain enhancements by establishing relationships and networks with foreign suppliers to deliver a quality product at an optimised landed cost. Create tender specifications and manage supplier evaluation for material contracts (WFC, WFCU and CT DC) Support R&D in sourcing and conducting cost analysis for prototypes and samples.
This may extend to local and international investigations. Adhoc Take direction from CEO to run formal tender processes, evaluate consumption in the factory, and make recommendations on supplier appointments. Technical skills: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics or related field. 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement or inventory management Experience with ERP systems Familiarity with MRP software for inventory management Proficient in data analytics tool Driver's license Transportation / Logistics jobs
