Procurement Coordinator - Commodities

Our client is looking for a Procurement Coordinator (Commodities) to join their team in the Northern Cape.
Experience within Animal Feed industry will be beneficial.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
In co-operation with procurement manager coordinate the:Volumes available on a weekly basis at farms for loadingDoing quality checks, sampling and grading of available stockSort and prepare stock for loadingCommunicate with the transport department to arrange vehicles for loadingCommunicate with the farm on loading dates & timesEnsure all feed is loaded as plannedOversee loading of vehiclesEnsure all administration related to quality control and loading of vehicles is accurately and timeously completed, including but not limited to:Taking photos of loading processQuality control certificatesLoaded weight certificatesTimely communication if product is not available or according to specificationQuality assurance on farms and at loading pointsTesting and sampling of product available to load to confirm quality requirementsManagement of quality standards by instruction and training on farm level REQUIREMENTS
Adequate secondary qualificationExperience in procurement and purchasing of lucerne and other animal feed productsExperience in quality control and loading processes for lucerne and other animal feed productsComputer literate with good reporting skillsAvailable to travel between farms where quality control and loading is requiredBased in the Northern Cape (Douglas, Kimberley, Hartswater)Strong communication skillsAbility to work independently, as well as in a teamEasily adaptableEffective time managementString focus on qualityAttention to detailProblem solving skills REMUNERATION
