Our Procurement Team (Non Merchandise Products) is looking for an organized, trustworthy, and focused Procurement Administrator who is passionate about the buying and procurement process. The incumbent will be responsible for controlling and executing the NMP buying function within Cape Union Mart, in accordance with the procurement policies and procedures. Furthermore, the candidates will report whether policies, procedures, instructions, and systems (PIPS) governing procurement are being adhered to.Our ideal candidate will have the ability to align with the company vision, be self-motivated, and actively involved in overseeing the end-to-end process in the applicable area of responsibility. In addition, the successful candidate should have the high energy levels required for this fast-paced, exciting, and dynamic retail environment.Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct Requests for Quote in accordance with RFQ processConduct Requests to Purchase in accordance with the Standard Operating procedure for procurementProcess the Purchase Order within stipulated time framesReceipt of Goods which are to be equal to the Purchase orderMaintain and implement Invoice ControlConduct Stock takes of NMP goodsInventory Control of NMP stocked productsProvide Reports of daily stock positionsForecasting and Planning of Non Stock productsAll duties in compliance with the company Ethical and Procurement codeContract moduleNew store, revamps, and store closuresRequirementsExperience & Qualifications2 years + experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail environmentMatric (Tertiary Education in a related field preferable)Strong coordination and administration skillsMicrosoft Office proficiency (advanced Outlook, Word, and ERP proficiency)Competencies RequiredWell-spoken with effective communication skillsAbility to work independently and use initiativeResilient and tenacious in a fast-paced and ever-changing environmentBusiness (retail) and enterprise thinkingAbility to prioritize, manage your time, maintain high levels of drive & initiative while under pressureAbility to resolve problems and conflictAbility to build and maintain relationships with all levels of the organizationDeadline and outcomes focusedAbility to make sound decisionsPlease note: The Cape Union Mart Group is committed to transformation.
