Introduction:
Our client that has a national footprint specializing in the innovative operations and management of boiler plants on behalf of industrial clients requires the skills of a Procurement Administrator who will report to the Procurement Manager.
The successful candidate will predominantly be responsible for the procurement and logistics of fuel supplied to various sites.
Additional procurement and logistics responsibilities may be delegated by the Procurement Manager from time to time.
Position: Procurement Administrator Industry: Industrial Energy Industry Location: Bedfordview Gauteng Salary: Market related Start date: ASAP ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE REQUIREMENTS Requirements: Matric / Grade 12A formal qualification - ND in Logistics / Supply Chain Management/Procurement or any related qualificationGood time management and ability to cope with pressure and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Professionalism and meticulous work quality with attention to detail and accuracyFully conversant with MS Word and MS ExcelKnowledge in Sage X3 system will be beneficial.Good command of English (Speak, read, write)Be prepared to undergo further training (internal & external learning programmes)Responsibilities: Procurement and expediting of fuel (and where necessary engineering and indirect orders)Engagement with the Production Team for daily order placements and stock control on sitesEngagement with various transporters and service providers to ensure and verify required service delivery.Administrative tasks such as raising purchase orders and maintaining procurement and logistics registers.Ensure that Regional Procurement and Administration 'procure-to-pay' processes are followed for receipting of orders and services on Sage X3Assist with compiling weekly and monthly Procurement and supply chain health checks and reports.Monitor standard operating procedures with suppliers and transporters and ensure adherence to such procedures.Be on standby every alternate weekend to ensure that expediting and procurement of orders takes place as scheduled.Key Attributes: Time managementDeadline drivenProfessionalismMeticulous work qualityAttention to detailStrong organizational skillsAbility to multitaskReliability and thoroughness of work performedPositive and proactive engagement with teamsSelf-starter and take initiativeExcellent communication skillsWorking under constant pressureVery strong numerical skills and aptitudeAbility to work independently as well as in a teamPlease send your CVs to both ****** and ****** Closing date: Friday 17th Of January 2025.
