Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous and efficient Processing Operator to join our Return Department team. The Processing Operator will be responsible for managing the processing and inspection of returned goods, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to operational procedures, and a commitment to providing excellent service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and process returned goods in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Identify and document reasons for returns, including defects, damages, or customer dissatisfaction.
Sort, categorize, and record returned items accurately in the inventory management system.
Conduct visual inspections and functional tests on returned products to determine their condition.
Collaborate with customer service representatives and logistics coordinators to resolve return issues promptly.
Ensure all returned items are handled and stored properly to prevent damage or loss.
Package, label, and prepare returned goods for re-stocking, refurbishment, or disposal.
Maintain accurate records of return transactions, including quantities, reasons, and actions taken.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the return processing area.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a processing operator or similar role in a logistics or warehouse environment.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and proficiency in data entry.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects or discrepancies.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Physical ability to lift and move packages or items as needed (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in handling returns or reverse logistics.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control practices.
