Process Technician

Job Description: Responsible for timely changeover, set up moulds and work stationsWork with Production Assistant and Quality Department on approval of partsAid in Design jigs, fixtures, conveyer systems, robotics as necessary to meet or improve standardsAssist Production Assistants in shift operation as requestedDocument tooling damage and/or processing issues, maintenance issues as appropriateSets up all machining equipment related to each job changeWorks in a team to minimize machine down time and meet or exceed production standardsUnderstands all procedures associated with the handling of hazardous wastePerforms all maintenance of the tools/machines as requiredObserves machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunctionPerforms workspace housekeepingStrong organizational and prioritization skillsAbility to communicate verbally and in writingAbility to interpret part drawings, knowledge of plastic part quality requirements, and computer systems requiredMust have an understanding of the moulds, materials, and machineryProficiency in technical set-up of moulding machines and working knowledge on establishment of robust processesJob Requirements: Grade 12Three to Five years relevant experienceSalary: RNegotiable MonthlyJob Reference #: 1129483
