Process Safety Engineer - Chemical Manufacturing Company

Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a skilled Process Safety Engineer to join their team at a Chemical Manufacturing Company in KZN.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of process safety standards and procedures to prevent incidents and ensure compliance with regulations in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement process safety procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
Conduct process safety assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks.
Provide technical expertise and support for process safety-related projects and initiatives.
Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns related to process safety performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process safety improvements and enhancements.
Conduct training and workshops for employees on process safety practices and procedures.
Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Stay current on industry trends and regulations related to process safety in the chemical manufacturing sector.
Requirements Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process safety engineering in a chemical manufacturing environment Knowledge of process safety management systems  Familiarity with risk assessment tools and techniques  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams   Benefits Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
