A well known Automotive client in Rosslyn is looking for a Process Engineer to join their team. Purpose of the job: To monitor and control process parameters in the production department Key Performance Areas: Process Control: Monitor products processed Document and issue engineering change reports Ensure that all processes are capable of supporting production Set-up production line standards Optimise plant lay-out to improve material and product flow in plant Production: Monitor products processed Ensures correct start-up procedures are complied with and that the machinery is running at the start of the shift Ensures that all reporting on machinery downtime/production is done Monitors rejects and scrap and ensure scrap and reject targets are met Assist production controller is adhoc projects Quality: Develop production systems to ensure product quality is maintained. Productivity improvements - Value engineering: Implement and make suggestions on productivity improvements Plan and assist production areas regarding productivity improvements Continuous improvement: Monitor continuous improvements and makes suggestions to maximise production output. Maintenance & Safety: Ensures all planned maintenance schedules are adhered to Ensure safe working conditions and the application of safe working practices. Supplier Relations: Manage suppliers in regard to new process development, monitoring delivery time, costs and quality Competencies: Knowledge and Skills: Functional Knowledge Business Expertise Leadership Problem Solving Interpersonal Skills IATF requirements Lean and World Class Manufacturing principals Statistical Process Control CAD Drawings Minimum qualifications: Mechanical, Process or Industrial Engineering National Diploma Additional qualifications: 2 years' experience in process engineering in the Automotive Industry.
