We are seeking a skilled and innovative Process Engineer to provide technical and project support within our manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will contribute to research and development, continuously improve processes and procedures, and assist in maintaining high operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Research and Development (35%) Investigate new technologies and solutions Develop and test prototypes Design and program embedded systems Manage R&D projects Projects (15%) Design and implement electrical, control, and PLC systems Develop project plans and manage execution Factory Breakdowns (10%) Provide technical support for breakdowns Debug and fix electronic systems Process Engineering and Documentation (10%) Perform feasibility studies Engage in process problem-solving and root cause analysis Update process documentation Compliance (10%) Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations Maintain risk registers and report discrepancies Customer Service Management (10%) Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders Represent the company in relevant meetings Cost and Financial Control (10%) Contribute to budget preparation and cost-saving initiatives Monitor expenditures and control costs Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (NQF 7) Up to 5 years of experience in Production, Operations, or Process Engineering within a manufacturing environment Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, ERP systems Experience with PLC, HMI, Control Systems, Embedded Devices, and Programming (C/C++, C#, Python) Knowledge of electronic design tools (Multisim, Ultiboard, MatLab), databases, and networking (SQL) Behavioural Competencies: Proactive and action-oriented Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent planning, organization, and relationship-building abilities Resilience and adaptability Strong communication skills
