Job RequirementsEducation: Degree / Diploma in Metallurgical EngineeringExperience: Minimum 2 years experience in non-ferrous metals manufacturing environment (smelters and foundries)Qualifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt qualification is an advantageSkills: Demonstrated ability in improving efficiency of production processes is requiredStart Date: The position is to start in Jan / Feb 2025.DutiesProduction Monitoring:Monitoring and controlling production processes to most effectively utilise available resources.Project Management:Effective project management to drive improvement projects through to completion.Change Management:Ability to effect change and gain buy-in from all stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Resource Management:Effectively supervise effective resource management and correct utilization of consumables as per the SOPs and WIs so that the production targets are met.Profitability:Supervise resources to identify bottlenecks and non-compliances and correct.Compliance:Compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality initiatives of the company.Target:Ensure target ZERO / ZERO harm in the departments.Material Management:Management of process, material and equipment specifications and sourcing of alternative superior quality materials, equipment, and processes.Other SkillsWell-developed people interpersonal skillsAbility to drive projects to execution and completionHigh degree of ethics and honestyAbility to work as a team, as well as independently, with minimal supervisionAbility to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbally and in a written formatMust be thorough, pro-active, result-oriented and must work well with all levels of employees
