Process Engineer

As a Process Engineer, you will safely and effectively supervise and coordinate the work activities and resources of the Breaker, Smelter, and Refinery departments so that they will contribute to the profitability of the company. Optimise the production of lead alloys to satisfy the identified needs of the sales department operating from the manufacturing plant in Wadeville, Germiston. Education:Degree in Metallurgical EngineeringMinimum 2 years experience in a non-ferrous metals manufacturing environmentLean Six Sigma Green BeltDemonstrated ability in improving efficiency of production processesDuties:Production Monitoring: Monitoring and controlling production processes to most effectively utilise available resources.Project Management: Effective project management to drive improvement projects through to completion.Change Management: Ability to effect change and gain buy-in from all stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Effectively Supervise: Effective resource management and correct utilization of consumables as per the SOPs and WI so that the production targets are met.Profitability: Supervise resources to identify bottlenecks and non-compliance and correct these.Compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality initiatives of the company.Ensure target zero/zero harm in the departments.Management of process, material and equipment.
