An opportunity for an experienced PROCESS ENGINEER (Chem Eng.
BSc / B.Tech) is required for permanent employment based in Newcastle. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the incumbent will be required to monitor, analyse, optimise and give feedback on the processes in the Production Department with a view of continual improvement.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyse data of processPrepare necessary statistical reports required of productionHighlight anomalies in reportsInterpret data for optimisation of processEvaluate heat balancesEvaluate performance of millsOptimising grinding aid dosageEvaluating cost benefit of grinding aidsResponsible to implement the process schedulesImplement AFRM program together with production teamGenerate report on findings during shutdownsOptimising processesControl of process in line with quality specifications EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Grade 12 (Matric)BSc or B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification2 years work experience in process engineering and understanding of operational activitiesMethodical, systematic, with the ability to be self-managed and results driven CORE COMPETENCIES: Customer / Internal partner focusPeople orientatedResults Driven #TheRecruitmentGuy
