Role Summary: PwC has an exciting opportunity for a Process Digitisation Engineer who has extensive working experience within the Retail Banking space. This role will give the successful incumbent an opportunity to work on innovative projects while leveraging new and advanced technologies to drive transformative solutions. This role involves analysing, designing, and implementing digital solutions to optimise and automate business processes. The Process Digitisation Engineer will play a key role in driving efficiency, reducing costs, and improving the overall performance of operations. Qualifications / Certifications required: Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, business administration or related field.Relevant certifications in process management, business analysis or digital transformation. Experience required: Minimum 3 years working experience in process engineering, business analysis, process architecture, user experience design within Banking sector.Proven experience in designing and implementing digital solutions for process optimisation.Strong understanding of business process analysis and process excellence.Proficiency in digital transformation and automation technologies.Experience with process mapping and modeling tools.Knowledge of digital technologies like RPA, AI, Cloud, Workflow, NLP etc. will be advantageous.Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation (PDD, BRD, FRD).Strong communication and collaboration skills. Responsibilities of role: Process analysis and optimisation: Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for digital transformation.Map current processes and develop future-state process models.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and objectives. Digital solution design: Design and develop digital solutions to automate and optimise business processes.Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools for process digitisation.Develop technical specifications and documentation for digital solutions. Implementation and integration: Lead the implementation of digital solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.Configure and customize software applications to meet process requirements.Oversee the testing and validation of digital solutions to ensure functionality and performance. Continuous improvement: Monitor the performance of digital solutions and identify areas for improvement.Stay updated with industry trends in process digitisation.Implement best practices for process digitisation and automation. Skill sets required: Process mapping and modeling: Proficiency in documenting current processes and designing future state processes using tools like BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation). Analytical skills: Ability to analyze complex data and processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. IT proficiency: Familiarity with software and tools used for process modeling, analysis, and improvement (e.g., ERP systems, process mining software). Business acumen: Understanding of the business environment, industry trends, and organizational goals. Teamwork and collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements. Quality management: Knowledge of quality management principles and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Total Quality Management (TQM). Time management: Prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Continuous improvement mindset: Proactively seeking opportunities to optimize processes and enhance efficiency. Role related attributes: Process Optimization: Ability to streamline workflows and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Documentation: Proficiency in documenting current and future state processes, including detailed process maps, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and process improvement plans. Requirements Gathering: Skill in eliciting and documenting business requirements from stakeholders to understand process needs and objectives. Stakeholder Management: Skill in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across different departments and levels of the organization. Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of process issues and recommend effective solutions. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and requirements, and to quickly learn and apply new skills and methodologies.
