Purpose of the roleTo develop, analyse, control and implement improvements in manufacturing processes, through the use and development of methodologies and management tools, with the aim of optimizing, stabilizing and standardizing process and employee training.Roles And ResponsibilitiesLean ProcessEnsure standardization of manufacturing process, through the development, review and verification of compliance with operating procedures, in order to minimize variations in the process.Participate in the development of training materials on the manufacturing process, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge within the factory.Monitor the consumption of the main entrances through computerized systems and field data, in order to point out unfavorable trends, providing managers with information for decision making.Monitor equipment spoilage and performance throughout the manufacturing process through computerized systems and field data, as well as analyze the information, point out and implement improvements, and interact with the production team in search of better results.Participate in Lean events (SMED, Kaizen, 6 Sigma projects, etc.), with the aim of reducing input consumption and spoilage, as well as improving team performance.Coordinate one of the Lean tools, directing activities, with the aim of contributing to the dissemination of the culture of continuous improvement in the unit.Health, Safety and EnvironmentOperates production machines as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job safety Analysis (JSAs).Complies with corporate directives and established job safety practices, policies and procedures for the safe performance of work assignments.Supports, implements and conforms to the guidelines of FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 45001 and the food safety management system.Performs clean-up and housekeeping duties.Record Keeping and ReportingCompletes daily production, quality assurance and maintenance logs in conjunction with other record keeping duties as required.
