Key activities & accountabilities Responsible for designing and improving business processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. This includes analysing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize workflow. Assisting the team with drafting the Process Taxonomy and Governance Framework that will govern the process repository across the business. Work closely with various stakeholders, including business leaders, department heads, and end-users, to understand their requirements and align process design with organizational goals, this includes conducting meetings, workshops, and interviews to gather feedback and ensure buy-in from all parties involved. Responsible for documenting and standardizing processes to ensure consistency and clarity. This includes creating process maps, flowcharts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that outline the steps, roles, and responsibilities involved in each process. Identifies opportunities for process optimization, innovation, and automation to drive efficiency and effectiveness. This involves staying updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies. Collaborates with various departments and teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of processes across the organization. They facilitate cross-functional communication, coordination, and collaboration to optimize end-to-end processes and achieve organizational objectives. Ensures that processes meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
Minimum Requirements Knowledge and experience in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean 5 years' experience in process design, improvement, or related roles. The following industry experience would be beneficial. Insurance Financial Retail environment Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, a strong understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean or BPMN Proficiency in process modelling tools, preferably Bizagi Analytical and problem-solving abilities, Attention to detail to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and potential risks. The ability to work collaboratively within a team of process Analysts. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organisation; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualisations. Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organisation with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus. Good inter-personal skills, including influencing and persuasion skills. Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal and team results. Pro-active, innovative, and creative thinker who can think outside the box.
