ELIGIBILITYSuitably qualified candidatesCLOSING DATE27.12.2024REFERENCE NUMBERCS 220/24 extSALARYR441682.00 - R487599.00 p.a.DEPARTMENTExec and Councillor SupportOperationsDIRECTORATECORPORATE SERVICESRequirementsGrade 12 plus a relevant tertiary qualification preferably a National Certificate in Printing and Manufacture PackagingThree (3) to five (5) years' relevant supervisory experienceKnowledge of relevant City policies, procedures and practices will be an advantageProficiency in MS Office and SAPAbility to work after hours and weekends as and when necessary.Key Performance AreasCoordinate and control the operations of a Corporate Print Room where agendas, minutes and other printed material are reproduced.Plan, prioritise and schedule print jobs in order to ensure the Corporate Print Room is adequately resourced in terms of material, equipment and personnel and that deadlines are adhered to.Liaise and interact with customers and relevant stakeholders in respect of printing requirements and specifications.Administer and check the accuracy of transactional documentation relating to operational activities and staff performance/outputs, e.g. works orders, requisitions, time and attendance, overtime, etc. before approval and processing.Give input, administer, maintain, monitor and report on tender and contract management and vendor performance.Cost each print job and ensure that it is accurately captured on SAP.Oversee, plan and facilitate regular maintenance of printing equipment.Control and manage all assets allocated to the Print Room.Maintain health and safety standards in the Print Room and ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.Supervise staff and performance levels within the Print Room.
