We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer with at least 8 years of demonstrated expertise in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to translate complex technical information into user-friendly content tailored for diverse audiences.

Duties and responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including user manuals, guides, technical specifications, and online help content.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and analyze complex technical information.
Identify the documentation needs of the department and proactively create materials that address these needs.
Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and aligns with the latest company standards and branding.
Use advanced Microsoft Suite tools and technical writing software to produce polished and professional documentation.
Create and maintain documentation templates, style guides, and best practices for technical writing.
Conduct user research and feedback sessions to improve documentation quality and usability.
Translate IT technical jargon into easily understandable language for non-technical audiences.
Participate in cross-functional teams and projects to ensure documentation meets project requirements and deadlines.
Perform regular audits of existing documentation to identify areas for improvement or updates.

Requirements Qualifications:

National Diploma/Degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant technical certification.
Minimum of 8 years of technical writing experience in a similar role, preferably in the IT sector.
Proven track record of producing clear and user-friendly documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and technical writing tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe RoboHelp, Confluence).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively.
Preferred skills:
Experience with Agile methodologies and documentation practices.
Familiarity with graphic design tools for enhancing documentation (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Snagit).
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
