Responsibilities:
Manage the delivery of best practice process plant design in alignment with company objectives and client requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all communications relating to process engineering.
Ensure all process work is conducted safely, complying with and contributing to the company Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies.
Manage designated process engineering teams to ensure appropriate quality and best practices.
Oversee the preparation of study, project, and proposal documents to ensure quality and accuracy.
Ensure delivery of process services on or ahead of schedule and on or under budget.
Participate in and contribute to the change process within the Process Group.
Establish and communicate a formal procedural structure for process engineering deliverables.
Enhance documentation quality and process information.
Measure client satisfaction to align with client needs.
Contribute to company success in securing business and maintaining profitability.
Foster positive teamwork within the Process Group.
Champion change within the Process Group.
Pursue excellent HSE performance standards and encourage staff to achieve or outperform HSE KPIs.
Qualifications:
B Degree or B Tech qualification essential.
Desirable:
Registered with ECSA or eligible for registration.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
In-depth technical knowledge of process plant design and operation, typically gained from over ten years of experience in projects and a total of 12 years in the mining industry.
Ability to lead and manage teams of process engineers.
Ability to manage activities on or ahead of schedule and on or below budget.
Ability to deliver cost-effective engineering solutions.
Ability to communicate process requirements effectively.
Ability to recognize commercial implications in project execution.
Ability to prepare and deliver oral and written presentations.
Understanding of strategic and change management processes.
Desirable:
Regarded as an industry expert in Mineral Processing.

Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Effective communication skills.
