Job Description We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator with a National Diploma/Degree or relevant technical certification (such as MCSE Messaging) and 8 years of experience.
This role requires expertise in administering Skype for Business user environments, managing communication systems, and troubleshooting complex communication issues.
Your skills in external system publishing, threshold monitoring, and reporting will be crucial in maintaining an effective and efficient communication infrastructure.
Duties and responsibilities : Administer and manage Skype for Business systems, including user administration and back-end configurations.
Oversee communication systems across all modalities, ensuring smooth operation and integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve system communication issues, both internally and externally.
Manage the publication of communication systems to the internet, ensuring security and functionality.
Monitor system thresholds and performance to proactively address potential issues.
Extract and analyze reports on system performance and communication modalities.
Requirements Qualifications: National Diploma/Degree or relevant technical certification, specifically MCSE Messaging.
Mandatory: ITIL Foundation and MCSE Messaging certifications.
Recommended knowledge of MS Active Directory, SAN technologies, TCP/IP Networking, and firewall rules.
8 years of experience in managing Skype for Business environments, including user administration and back-end systems.
Proven experience in administering and troubleshooting communication systems and publishing modalities.
Skilled in determining system thresholds, monitoring performance, and generating detailed reports.
