Your new company is a Global Nuclear Engineering & Defence Consultancy based near Preston. They are well known for being industry-leaders within the Engineering Sector, and looking to expand their Mechanical Engineering Team. They have a diverse Mechanical Engineering team, ranging from Junior Engineers to Senior Engineering Managers.
Your new role
They are looking for a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their team to assist in their latest nuclear projects. You will be responsible for creating detailed documentation, reporting changes to facility and equipment, and ensuring the mechanical systems meet the stringent requirements of the nuclear industry. You will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of the facility, contributing to the integrity and reliability of the systems that support our operations.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with demonstrable experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the nuclear or similar high-regulation industry. You will need to be eligible for Security Clearance.
What you'll get in return
In return for this role, you will receive an excellent salary of between £65,000 and £75,000 (depending on experience). In addition, you will receive an excellent pension and holiday scheme plus car allowance.
